Professor Constantinos Stathopoulos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Professor Constantinos Stathopoulos is the leader of the RNA Biology group at the University of Patras. He has been postdoctoral fellow at Yale University<\/a> (1998-2001) and Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the University of Thessaly (2002-2009).In 2009 he joined the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Patras School of Medicine<\/a> as Associate Professor and since 2014 he is Full Professor.The PI has established several international collaborations with centers of excellence on RNA biology and metabolism.Work from his group has been awarded in international and national conferences. He is member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Molecular Sciences<\/em><\/a> and he has served as reviewer for numerous international journals and for the evaluation of research grant applications submitted to the Hellenic Ministry of Education and to the General Secretariat of Research and Technology. He has published more than 60 articles and part of his work has been cited in major scientific textbooks of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
